KeniaAnn ran the Ogden half marathon with her brother. It was such a beautiful day. It had been raining all week up until the race, couldn't have asked for better weather to run in! They finished within a minute of each other! They are doing another half in August and KeniaAnn really wants to beat her brother! She'll be training hard this summer! The last picture is of her getting ready for the race, you can just see the excitement in her face...right! More so at the end! So glad to be done running!!!

Ty and our cute niece chillin' out together. We stayed over night at KeniaAnn's brother's house the night before the Ogden half marathon. We had a lot of fun playing with our sweet niece. They are looking at a photo album together. Aren't they so cute!!
This is at the museum in Park City. Ty loves fire trucks so we had to get a picture of this really old one!

In the basement of the museum was Park City's first jail. It did not look like a fun place to be. The cells were tiny! They told a story about a couple who stayed the night there on their wedding night! Not a very nice joke if you ask me!
Park City was a mining town and the car that KeniaAnn is sitting in was the train that went in and out of the mines. Later it was used as a ski lift! It took skiers into the mines and up to the top, it didn't last long because it was so cold and water would drip onto them! Not fun!
The elevator that Ty is standing in is one that the miners used. They said that you had to be so careful to keep your hands, feet, and head in because it is so tight and people did lose hands or something else that they would have liked to keep attached to their body! Yikes!!
Doesn't Ty fit right in with those miners!!?

We had a nice little getaway weekend in the Park City, Utah area! We took four days to just hang out together and do the things we love doing. The weather was even kind enough to cooperate for the most part! You never know what kind of weather you're going to get in Utah in May! We did a little biking, golfing, walking around the shops, we even stopped in a museum of Park City! The one day that we planned on hiking was the one day it decided to rain and snow! Well, we didn't get a hike in on this trip! Oh well, next time! We had so much fun!

Congratulations Jake!! Ty's (little?) brother graduated from USU. Thankfully it was such a nice day! We went to Ty's parents house afterwards and celebrated with his family. We're pretty proud of him!
